Grez-sur-Loing is located near Fontainebleau, 70 km southeast of Paris. It is easiest to get here on weekdays when the bus service to Grez-sur-Loing from Melun is more frequent.

Important information

• If you are flying to Paris, we recommend taking an early-day flight, as travel time from the airports to Grez-sur-Loing is between two to three hours.
• Do not arrive at the train station later than 21:00 if you plan to take the bus. Arriving later may make it difficult to reach Hôtel Chevillon.
• If you experience delays, we recommend traveling to Fontainebleau or Nemours and taking an Uber or taxi from there.
• Walking from the train stations is not possible due to forests, country roads without sidewalks, and poor lighting.

Paris → Grez-sur-Loing by train and bus

These instructions guide you from Charles de Gaulle Airport to Grez-sur-Loing.

1. At Charles de Gaulle Airport, take the train to Gare de Lyon.

• First, take RER B to Châtelet-Les Halles.
• Then, transfer to RER A to Gare de Lyon (simply cross to the other side of the platform).

1. At Gare de Lyon, go to Hall 1 upstairs and take an R train toward Montargis.
2. Get off at Nemours (tickets and NAVIGO cards will be checked). Exit the station.
3. Take bus 34 from the stop opposite the station.

• Important: The bus only accepts cash payments.
